It's the time of the year where the only place that gets exposed to the beautiful weather of summer air... is Australia. That also means the Australian Open. You know it's ridiculous how I stay up so late into the wee hours to watch those long rallies. Gasquet totally disappointed me yesterday. I've got my hopes for Safina for the ladies and Murray (even though I secretly know Nadal will probably take the win.. also got to add that I do approve of his tennis attire, no capris!) for the dudes. Let's see if they can live up to my expectations.
Going to check out the men's match tomorrow at UW. That should be pretty exciting. I am pumped for that.
On another UW note, I am glad basketball is the sport to turn things around after those streaks of defeats for football. Complete antithesis, almost. Woo, let's go huskies.
